Delete your FateWeave account
You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data.
FateWeave is operated by Nightshade Holdings, LLC. These controls apply to the FateWeave mobile app (iOS and Android) and the FateWeave website.
- Open the FateWeave app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete My Account.
- Type DELETE, enter your current password, and confirm.
- Sign in and open Account settings.
- Find Delete account, type DELETE, enter your password, and confirm.
If you can’t access your account, email support@playfateweave.com from the address on your account and request deletion. We’ll verify ownership before processing the request.
Your personal data is permanently deleted or anonymized, including:
- Profile details (name, email, avatar, biography, location, preferences)
- Saved characters and personal library items
- Purchased/redeemed content entitlements (access is permanently lost)
- Notifications, device/push tokens, and active sessions
- Friend/group invites and personal messages you can remove
To meet financial, tax, security, and legal obligations, a limited set of records is retained in an anonymized form — no longer tied to your name, email, avatar, or biography:
- Transaction, subscription, and tax records
- Fraud, abuse, and moderation history
- Contributions to shared campaigns and reviews (shown as “Deleted Weaver” so collaborators’ records stay intact)
We do not automatically issue refunds on deletion, and we do not delete Stripe financial records. An active subscription is scheduled to cancel at the end of the current billing period.
Personal data is removed or anonymized promptly upon confirmation. Anonymized records retained for legal or financial reasons are kept only as long as required, then purged on our standard retention schedule.
